We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the demands of each individual’s life at work, as well as at home. On the first day of employment, employees are eligible for coverage under all of the following plans. There is no waiting period, and employees are encouraged to participate in any, or all, of our benefit programs.
Health Coverage
Medical
The Advisory Board Company offers employees the opportunity to choose between three health coverage options: EPO, PPO and HDHP.
Prescription Drug Program
The benefit of a retail network pharmacy program on a three-tier copayment basis is available to employees. In addition, a mail service pharmacy program provides even more savings on a reduced copayment basis.
Dental
Under our PPO plan, employees have the freedom to select any dentist, inside or outside the plan’s network. With participating dentists, preventative services are covered in full.
Vision
The Advisory Board Company offers a primary vision care benefit plan that covers employees’ preventative and corrective eye-care needs.
Other Benefits
Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
The Advisory Board Company provides group life insurance, as well as accidental death and dismemberment insurance, at no cost to our employees.
Disability Coverage
In addition, short-term disability and long-term disability insurance are provided at no cost.
Retirement Plan
The Advisory Board Company offers a 401(k) plan designed to help employees save money for retirement. Employees may enroll at any time, and all contributions and earnings are fully vested. In addition, the firm matches a percentage of each employee’s contribution.
Paid Time Off
The Advisory Board Company encourages employees to find a healthy balance between professional and personal lives. Accordingly, the firm provides ample paid time off designated as holidays, PTO days for vacation, personal and sick time, and bereavement days.
Tuition Assistance
All employees with six months tenure at the firm are eligible for tuition reimbursement for evening and weekend courses. Past coursework has included Business, Statistics, and Computer Programming.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free confidential professional counseling services to Advisory Board employees who need assistance with personal, financial, or professional problems. These services include initial consultation, problem assessment, and referrals.
