Our web-based Business Intelligence tools are designed to empower hospitals to achieve business performance goals through faster, data-driven decision making, providing visibility into their financial, operational and clinical systems, root cause analysis and performance tracking tools. Web-based technology and best practice support enables members to achieve significant financial and operational improvements and elevate staff performance. Tools cover a variety of content areas, including revenue cycle management, surgery, supply chain management, nursing and quality.

Dedicated Advisor, Business Intelligence Solutions

The Dedicated Advisor is the primary relationship manager for our business intelligence members and plays the lead role in managing project timelines and ensuring that members generate significant value from their partnership with the Advisory Board. Dedicated Advisors are assigned a pool of clients with whom they work from the start of the engagement. After the Dedicated Advisor defines the specific needs and goals of each client, they work to customize the business intelligence toolset used to transform hospital data into easy-to-use dashboards, reports and ad-hoc analyses. In addition, they are responsible for training members on the use of business intelligence software and for analyzing data in conjunction with the member to identify potential impediments and recommend corrective action.

Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Solutions

Business Analysts play a lead role in ensuring that new members are successfully "on boarded", working with hospital staff to extract available data and troubleshoot technical and non-technical challenges. Using a variety of technologies, Business Analysts assess client data to identify improvement opportunities and develop presentations and reports that illustrate the potential impact. In addition, they provide ongoing business and technical support including customization of the BI tool itself to meet the needs of the members.

Developer, Business Intelligence Solutions

Developers are critical to the successful design, development, deployment and maintenance of data integration and data quality processes for our Business Intelligence solutions. Specific responsibilities include developing and deploying ETL job workflow, supporting operations by identifying and resolving performance and production issues and performing unit and system integration testing.
