H*Works

H*Works consults with hospitals to achieve best-practice performance in mission critical operational and strategic areas. H*Works assists hospitals in their change efforts with the support of the Advisory Board’s best practice research and implementation methodology. We turn the best practice results presented in the Advisory Board’s research into operational reality within our partners’ institutions. The great benefit of traditional consulting, "arms and legs", to do the work is also one of its greatest limitations. By relying on hospital staff as team leaders who select and execute best practices, H*Works fosters staff ownership, permanent change, and permanent results.

Senior Associate, H*Works

Senior Associates continually learn and master Advisory Board research, which forms the basis for H*Works initiatives. They work within a team and serve a key role in analyzing client operations and data, developing presentation and report deliverables, and presenting recommendations and facilitating decision-making processes at the client site.

Associate Director/Director, H*Works

Associate Directors and Directors work with H*Works team leaders to support hospitals through reengineering efforts. They lead client meetings, present best practice research, analyze data, facilitate discussions to select strategies and guide clients through to successful installation of best practices. Associate Directors and Directors are also instrumental in developing frameworks for H*Works initiatives, packaging the difficult concepts of problem identification, root cause analysis, opportunity assessments, and designing clear and manageable processes for educating and enfranchising decision makers in client institutions.

Principal, H*Works

Principals are the key relationship managers with H*Works clients, driving business development efforts and overseeing client engagements at leading hospitals across the country. They manage a pool of clients, ensuring that they are completely satisfied with their engagements and capitalizing on opportunities to partner with the client hospitals for subsequent projects.
