Our industry programs serve as a portal into the health care provider landscape for a broad cross-section of companies offering products and services to the hospital industry. Advisory Board International has grown and expanded in response to member demand for support in the global search for ideas. We are dedicated to unlocking the value of the Advisory Board’s large body of research for leading institutions worldwide. Grounded in our belief that the power of good ideas is universal in its application, we aim to provide hospital and health care executives across the globe with the more salient best practices and analyses to help them navigate the emerging trends and policies impacting their institutions. Most importantly, our ambition is to create a vital international network of organisations committed to shared prosperity. Over the next decade, Advisory Board International aims to build our global membership for the benefit of all who strive for high-performance health care and in order to have an outsized impact on the delivery of health care around the world.

Strategy and Operations Research

Advisory Board International organises its staff and work through separate memberships for three distinct constituencies: senior executives focused on strategy and leadership issues, clinical and operational executives, and senior nursing executives. While many themes and topics are shared by the entire leadership team, each program views challenges and opportunities through a different lens.

We dedicate more than a dozen separate staffs of consultants and analysts to study the “up at night” issues of the major organizational chiefs within each program. These teams research and publish a series of strategy and best practice reports and toolkits tailored to each constituency. Each membership group convenes annually to discuss recent findings and to set the agenda for future study. The agenda and services for every program is entirely directed by our member institutions.

Health Care Executive Board
